By accessing or using the Alumni Platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Website.

2 Eligibility for Membership

2.1 Membership of St. Arnold's Alumni Association is open to:

• Former students who have completed at least one academic year at St. Arnold's Hr. Sec. School, Vijaynagar, Indore
• Former teaching and non-teaching staff of the school
• Honorary members as approved by the Executive Committee

2.2 The Association reserves the right to verify credentials and deny or revoke membership at its sole discretion.

3 Registration and Account

3.1 To access certain features of the Website, including the alumni directory, you must register and create an account.

3.2 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.3 You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. Your account is non-transferrable and can't be resold.

3.4 The Association reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in conduct deemed inappropriate.

4 Membership Fees and Payments

4.1 Membership fees, event charges, and donation amounts (if applicable) shall be determined by the Executive Committee and communicated through the Website.

4.2 All payments shall be processed through third-party payment gateways integrated with the Website. By making a payment, you also agree to the terms and conditions of the respective payment service provider.

4.3 Payment of membership fees or event registration constitutes acceptance of the applicable terms.

4.4 Your membership fee, donation, and its certification will be non-transferrable and non-refundable.

5 Use of the Website

5.1 You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

5.2 You agree not to:

• Use the Website in any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation
• Transmit or procure the sending of any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent
• Impersonate or attempt to impersonate the Association, an Association member, or any other person or entity
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Website
• Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to access the Website for any purpose
• Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Website or any systems or networks connected to the Website

6 Alumni Directory and Information Sharing

6.1 By registering on the Website, you expressly consent to your personal contact information (including but not limited to name, batch year, contact number, email address, current location, and profession) being made available to all other registered members through the alumni directory.

6.2 The alumni directory is intended to facilitate networking amongst alumni. Members may use directory information only for personal, non-commercial networking purposes.

6.3 You may not scrape, copy, or distribute directory information for commercial purposes, mass marketing, or any purpose other than individual alumni networking.

6.4 You may request to opt out of directory visibility by contacting the Association at the email address provided on the Website.

7 Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Unless otherwise indicated, the Website and its content (including text, graphics, logos, images, and software) are the property of St. Arnold's Alumni Association or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 The name "St. Arnold's", "St. Arnold's Alumni Association", the school crest, and associated logos are trademarks of St. Arnold's Hr. Sec. School and are used with permission.

7.3 You may view, download, and print pages from the Website for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to the restrictions set out in these Terms and Conditions.

7.4 You must not modify, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Website without prior written permission.

8 User-Generated Content

8.1 The Website may allow users to post, upload, or submit content, including comments, photographs, videos, and messages ("User Content").

8.2 By submitting User Content, you grant the Association a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display such content for the purposes of operating the Website and promoting the Association's activities.

8.3 You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to submit the User Content
• The User Content does not infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party
• The User Content does not contain any defamatory, obscene, offensive, or unlawful material

8.4 The Association reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content at its sole discretion, without prior notice.

9 Communications and Marketing

9.1 By registering on the Website, you consent to receive communications from the Association, including:

• Newsletters and alumni updates
• Event invitations and announcements
• Fundraising appeals and donation requests
• Promotional messages on social media platforms
• SMS and WhatsApp messages

9.2 You may opt out of certain communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in such communications or by contacting us directly.

10 Refund Policy

10.1 General Policy: St. Arnold's Alumni Association operates a strict no-refund policy. All payments made for membership fees, event registrations, donations, and other services are final and non-refundable.

10.2 Scope: This applies to annual and lifetime membership fees, event registration fees (reunions, dinners, seminars, workshops), donations and contributions, merchandise purchases (if applicable), and any other fees or charges collected through the Website.

10.3 No Refunds: Once a payment is successfully processed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to change of mind, inability to attend an event, dissatisfaction with services, technical issues, duplication of payments, or change in membership plans.

10.4 Event Cancellation: If the Association cancels an event entirely and does not offer a rescheduled date, registered participants may be offered credit towards a future event, transfer of registration, or complimentary extension of membership benefits. However, monetary refunds will not be provided.

10.5 Transfer of Registration: No form, sort or manner of transfer of Registration or its documents, whether for an event or the membership is authorized. All registration amounts are non-resellable, non-refundable, and non-transferrable.

11 Donation Policy

11.1 Voluntary Nature: All donations and contributions to St. Arnold's Alumni Association are voluntary and made at the sole discretion of the donor.

11.2 Use of Donations: Donations may be used for supporting alumni events, reunions, and networking activities; funding scholarships and awards for current students of St. Arnold's Hr. Sec. School; developing and maintaining the Website and digital infrastructure; creating promotional and communication materials; supporting infrastructure improvements at the school (when designated); or any other purposes that advance the objectives of the Association and the school community.

11.3 Non-Refundability: All donations are final and non-refundable. Once a donation is processed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

12 RIGHT TO AMEND POLICIES WITHOUT NOTICE

St. Arnold's Alumni Association reserves the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, amend, update, or replace these policies at any time, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, without any prior notice, announcement, or communication to members or users.

Any modifications shall become effective immediately upon posting on the Website (https://starnoldsvijaynagar.com/), regardless of whether users have been notified or have reviewed the changes. Your continued access to or use of the Website following the posting of any changes constitutes your binding acceptance of such changes.

13 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

13.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
